As a rheumatologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, I have dedicated my practice to diagnosing and treating Sjögren's Disease (also known as Sjögren's Syndrome), with a particular focus on its systemic manifestations.
-
I currently spearhead research initiatives focused on unraveling key molecular pathways of Sjögren's Disease. To achieve this, I employ innovative techniques such as patient-derived organotypic culture, state-of-the-art microscopy, advanced genetics, and comprehensive clinical phenotyping.
-
I am actively involved in cross-disciplinary teaching and educational initiatives, which include co-creating a course on therapeutic development that has been integrated into the MS/MBA program in biotechnology at Harvard Business School. Additionally, I curate and maintain a patient educational hub dedicated to Sjögren's Disease, providing valuable resources and information to empower patients and enhance their understanding of the condition.
-
I work towards fostering meaningful partnerships that bridge the gap between academic research and industry, with a focus on the field of autoimmune diseases. To this end, I warmly welcome inquiries from industry partners interested in forging connections to further our shared goals.
